WHY SUBSCRIBE?

We continue to technologize the world at a blistering pace. Information available to us is growing exponentially, yet the wisdom we gather from such information is in rapid decline. This is especially true when it comes to the human brain and nervous system.

The natural sciences (i.e. evolution, developmental neurobiology etc.) are being relegated to the sidelines in the understanding of human health, behaviour, and performance, when in fact it should be the first name on the team sheet.

Put simply, I get stuck in on brains of the past, to develop and build better brains in the future

I focus on practical, biological mechanisms, long-conserved throughout evolution to help build folks that are fit, robust, and health, both physically and mentally.

Much of my writing is geared towards three populations of folks that I see most in my clinical practice in Toronto, and abroad.

  1. Professional and amateur athletes.

  2. Patients with complex neurological issues.

  3. Folks wanting (and needing) to perform, at the highest level.

WHO DIS?

I’m Daniel Gallucci, a former pro soccer player that toiled through the lower leagues of Europe before becoming a clinician and researcher. I hold advanced training in exercise physiology, neurofunctional acupuncture, functional neurology, clinical neuroscience, traumatic brain injury, developmental disorders, and neurochemistry. Above all else, I consider myself a coach.

My research interests including multi-modal neuroimaging in athletes, ancient biological systems, active inference, mechanobiology, machine learning, and brain computer interfaces.

I was a contributing author on a book, The Science and Pseudoscience of Childen’s Mental Health, and the founder of a publicly traded neurotechnology company called Nurosene (now called Netramark). I’m wildly obsessed with Liverpool F.C. and can sometimes be found trying to make the best ice cream on the planet.
